A student can pick a preferred instructor or let the system auto-assign round-robin to whoever’s available for their category. From a single dashboard you see every instructor’s occupancy rate, hours taught per week and month, and you can quickly rebalance bookings when someone’s overloaded.
Not every instructor teaches every category. For each instructor you define the categories they’re licensed for (B, BE, C, D) and the compatible cars. The system only offers students instructors qualified for the chosen category, so mismatched bookings never happen — a category-B student is never routed to an instructor licensed only for C.
For students who want a specific instructor (a recommendation, a preferred teaching style), you leave the choice open — displayed availability is that instructor’s own. For the rest, you turn on round-robin assignment, which spreads lessons evenly across available instructors so one isn’t overloaded while another sits with an empty diary.
From the dashboard you see how many hours each instructor taught this week, their lesson cancellation rate and how many active students they have. When an instructor goes on leave or reduces availability, you reassign their scheduled lessons to another qualified instructor in a few clicks, without calling every student individually.
