How booking a lesson works
The student opens the school’s page, picks a category (B, BE, C, D) and, optionally, a preferred instructor. The system shows only the slots where that instructor AND a car from the required category are free at the same time. The student confirms the time, the lesson lands instantly in the instructor’s calendar, blocks the car for that slot and deducts one hour from the student’s package. The front desk no longer computes availability by hand — the system does it automatically on every booking.
Zero overlaps between instructor, car and student
A lesson needs three free resources at once: the instructor, the car and a slot in the student’s own schedule. 4driving checks all three simultaneously, so you never get a case where the instructor is free but their car is already booked for another lesson. If an instructor teaches on more than one car, the system automatically picks one available from the right category.
From booking to exam, in one place
Alongside practical lessons, you can also schedule theory-exam prep sessions, and once a student has logged the legally required minimum hours, you mark their status as "exam ready". The full lesson history (date, instructor, car, duration) stays attached to the student’s file — useful when booking the practical exam with an authorised examiner.
